Research Topic:

1. Immune regulation at the interface between fetus and mother                           

We are applying scRNAseq, high-dimensional flow cytometry and multi-color immunohistochemistry to dissect the immune factors in the regulation of a successful pregnancy and to identify key immune abnormalities responsible for recurrent spontaneous abortion. The association of host gut microbiota and the disease will be investigated too. 


2. Gut immune microenvironment of Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC)

NEC is a severe disease affecting neonates, particularly preterm babies. With a similar research strategy as above, we are dissecting the immune compartment in the gut of NEC patients and adjacent normal tissues in relation to gut microbiota changes. 


3. Longitudinal analysis of single B cell and T cell repertoire during childhood
