Name: Suihan FENG
Unit Name: Unit of Chemical Biology and Lipid Metabolism
Education(CV): Suihan Feng obtained his PhD from EMBL Heidelberg in 2014. He moved to Howard Riezman laboratory at the University of Geneva in 2015. In June 2021, He joined the Institut Pasteur Shanghai (IPS), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and started to work in his own lab.

Research Topic:
Lipids are fundamentally important in all life forms, but many basic questions about lipids are not answered due to the lack of available techniques. Our lab is interested in combining the skills of synthetic chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology to uncover new principles and mechanisms regulating local lipid metabolism and transport. We are also keen on translating acquired knowledge to advance our understanding of lipids during the host-microbiota interactions.
